Sofia Triggs

Sofia Triggs is the Vice President, Human Resources (HR) at Mirai Bio, where she leads the company’s people and culture strategy with a focus on building an inclusive, high-performance work environment. 

Before joining Mirai Bio, Sofia held key leadership positions at Editas Medicine, where she served as Senior Vice President, Vice President, and Human Resources Business Partner. In these roles, she was responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR, including talent acquisition, employee relations, total rewards, and operations. Sofia has also served as Head of HR Operations and HR Business Partner at Orchard Therapeutics, where she spearheaded the implementation of global HR systems, processes, and programs, providing strategic guidance to various client groups to support the company’s rapid growth.

Prior to her experience in biotech, Sofia spent over a decade in various HR and management roles with increasing responsibility across multiple industries. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and international management studies from Luther College, with a focus on languages. Sofia further enhanced her leadership skills by completing executive programs at both Harvard Business School and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, she is an accredited Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
